Digital Storytelling

The digital storytelling was a wonderful software to use I had an amazing time doing the project. I could use the digital storytelling in many ways in the classroom for example; whenever I want to present to the class several pictures about some painter the digital storytelling will be very useful. I can arrange the different pictures and add captions while inserting a background song. Also students in grades 5^th and up can use this program for example, if they are reading a book one of the projects can be doing a digital storytelling with the program. Students can describe the beginning, middle and end of the book with pictures. Kids will have fun while doing their work so they put more thought to it. Also at the beginning of the school year the teacher may use it as an introduction of what the class will be like throughout the year and add pictures of what she will be teaching. The digital storytelling is wonderful and can be used in many things.

Glogster/Word Clouds

My experience by using these two programs were excellent. I loved the way you could change the colors, font and words and edit your own picture and put different things to it. I would use these two programs in the classroom in order for the kids to experiment with the computers and for them to create their own pictures and just have fun. The age appropriate for me is 3rd grade and up. In my opinion I think that these two programs are easier and more fun to use than Word and Paint. So I would definately use these two programs later in the future during my teaching.
